Anthony recently provided evidence on landscape and visual issues for a local inquiry for the conversion of a derelict farm complex in open countryside, south of Reading.

The evidence demonstrated that in fact the site was heavily influenced by the urbanising influences of the M4 and A33 road corridors and other factors such that the site was appropriate for conversion to business use.  The site made maximum use of the existing buildings on the site and the visual impact was deemed to be acceptable by the inspector by means of on and off-site planting.
